The North American Eclipse Series Finale


For the past few years, there has been a lot of great eclipses to watch in North America. The most recent one on April 8th, 2024 was perhaps the most extraordinary. This "Diamond Ring" total eclipse was the last of its back-to-back series, and the next Great American Total Solar Eclipse won't happen until August 12, 2045.

I traveled from Northern Colorado to Russellville Arkansas to watch and capture the eclipse. It was a very long drive, but the experience was "totally" worth it!


I used a Celestron Advanced VX 8-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain (2000mm f/10 equivalent) and my Nikon D780 connected via a T-adapter to capture this celestial event.
