Dupon Photography's Creative Philosophy


My intention with every piece of art I create is to capture the energy. Notice that I say ART not photos. The word "photos" is cheap, but "artwork" means something.


I believe God is our Creator, and I love to use creative arts to worship Him!

All artwork contains energy


I fundamentally believe that photography & cinematography is all about capturing energy. There are many types of energy and the most recognizable type is the energy that we can see: color and light.


However, impactful artwork is determined based on the energy that we can't see. The emotion and story for instance are powerful forms of energy.

“Photography is a beautiful thing. Not necessarily capturing what we can see, but rather what we can’t see...”
